June 20th is World Psychedelics Day. Psychedelic drugs, or hallucinogens, are substances used to change and enhance sensory perceptions, thought processes and facilitate spiritual experiences. They were used in psychotherapy in the 1960s and are slowly reappearing as a way to treat anxiety, depression, post-traumatic stress disorder, and more. For WPD, the global psychedelic community unites and makes itself known to the world to promote the ground-breaking revival of Psychedelics!
